How to create a file ,save , and open existing file in GIMP

How to create a file in GIMP?

► First of all open GIMP.

► After that go to the File option and click on it.

► Select new option and click on it.

► Set the types of template and orientation of pages like portrait or landscape and other things whatever you need.

► And finally Click on the “OK” button.

 

How to save the file?

► First of all go to the File option and select the save option and click on it.

► After that select the location where you want to save.

► Type file name with extension name “.xcf” and click on the Save button.

 

How to open an existing file in GIMP?

► First of all, go to the File menu and click on it.

► Select the open option and click on it.

► Select the desired file which to be open.

► And click on the open button.
