Computer and Its Language What is a Computer? A computer is an electronic machine that takes input from the user, processes the data, and produces output. It is one of the most important devices used in modern life. A computer is made up of two main components: Hardware – Physical parts of the computer such as keyboard, mouse, and monitor Software – Programs that instruct the computer to perform tasks Computers are used in schools, offices, hospitals, banks, and many other places to perform calculations and store information.
